Leather bag, cushion, bear and sewing jar

I have been making lately so thought I would share the new things.

My favourite and one I feel the most exciting about was my bag made from a kit. My mum keeps joking that at least my dad gave her a completed bag for christmas!

It was really interesting working with oiled thread and trying to keep the seams neat and tidy.

The bag also has an insert inside to separate parts I can’t wait to use it now.

My other favourite is the cushion I finished at last featuring my Father Christmas tapestry.

The next thing was supposed to be a teddy bear I made with my favourite material – daffodil. I now call it my bear/mouse.

Lovely daffodil material - you are sure to see some more again.

At christmas I bought a jar with sewing equipment in one for myself and one for the prize we give in cross stitch. It had a red gingham top but I thought I would use a christmas stitching I did. To bind it I used a plastic tape measure. Hey presto my own jar which fits snugly into the pocket of my bag.

Until the next time!
