Hobby Craft Kingsteignton opens

After all the furoure…NB they still call themselves Newton Abbot on some marketing, but Hobbycraft are well and truly in Kingsteignton and open.

A few months ago HobbyCraft put on their site suggestions for places for their new stores, I suggested that after they had teased us with one on Plymouth, which was within the now closed Woolworth, maybe they could look at Newton Abbot or better still Kingsteignton. I then asked all of my crafting friends to vote on their site and hey presto months later here we are with our very own store.

The crowds queued all around the car park.

The person next to me had come all the way from Plymouth as did a few others close to us, they are not sure whether this one or the new one that will soon be in Truro will be their nearest.

Wool ball and cupcake were our celebrities! How come others have had Peter Andre etc, etc?

It was lovely to see some of the brownies had created part of the opening day window.
