Celebrating our 6th Birthday – Kingsteignton Circle of Cross stitch friends

This Tuesday we had our sixth birthday. Doreen made us all a lovely cup cake each and delicious they were too. Louise and Tracey made us all a present which was wrapped in a very fat quarter of summer strawberry material with lots of goodies inside.

Not many entered the competition for the design your own needle holder, but here is mine in with the others. I wasnt a winner, sob, sob…but there again there is next time but my mum was second with her bag I sewed up for her and ribbonised.

The lovely Mo made us a needle case from some wonderful materials with all different ladies on sewing. You can see mine in the picture below.

Our presents made out to our club flower name.  I am daffodil because I love them and I cheated when you had to choose your name.

What lovely goodies.  Everything was wrapped in a big fat quarter of summer strawberry material. There was a silk, cotton, bee ribbon and tiny rose ribbon inside.  We are very lucky.
